Anatomy of Laziness.



I had a really hectic day. Infact, as the day was winding down, all I looked forward to was a hearty meal and the welcoming arms of my bed. During mid week service, I listened as the last part of the message addressed the anatomy of laziness and the divinity of work. As I listened, my eyes popped open at how lazy I can be many times.




We are all unique. That’s a clear fact. Our personality (the characteristics that make us unique) would profoundly affect our marriage. Personality has a lot to do with how we see the world and people, and it impacts on what we like or do.




I really need married couples to know that when either of them forces sex upon the other, it ceases to be an act of love; it becomes sexual abuse. For singles, it’s lust and abuse full blast!

Back in the days when men were mostly on the field and women took care of the home, there was very little confusion about who did what; roles were pretty clear. But these days when women can get to the top of the corporate ladder just like men or even achieve more, there’s a need to define roles within the home. This is vital as it can be a major source of conflict in the early months of marriage.

Apologizing as a sign of strength


In Africa where I come from, men are not used to apologizing to anyone, let alone women even when it’s glaring they’re wrong. I dare say that a good number of us grew up seeing our fathers as the ‘king of the jungle’. Their word was law and you probably never saw them display any sign of weakness; let alone apologize!
