Hello peeps, how was the weekend? I already had an article to post this morning but someone sent this to me and I thought to share it with you. It’s a touching story that shows what happens a lot in our world these days. Emotions are so powerful, they can build or destroy. Misplaced priorities can have brutal repercussions. Read on:
While a man was polishing his new car, His 4 year old son picked up a stone and scratched lines on the car; in anger, the man took the child’s hand and hit it many times not realizing he was using an iron.
At the hospital, the child lost all his fingers due to multiple fracture. When the child saw his father……………with painful eyes he asked, Dad when will my fingers grow back?
Davastated By His own Actions…………………. The man was so hurt and speechless; he went back to his car and kicked it a lot of times, sitting in front of that car, he looked at the Scratches, The child had written “LOVE YOU DAD.”
The next day, the man committed suicide……………………
Anger and Love have no limits. Things are to be used and people are to be loved, but the problem in today’s world is that people are used and things are LOVED.
When we don’t manage our emotions, they will ultimately destroy. I’ve heard a few people boast about their abilities to throw a temper tantrum and “do craze”. If you don’t manage that flaw, it will destroy you. The true sign of maturity is to be able to control our actions even when they’re justified. We must master our emotions.
That car that nobody else can touch is not as important as the life and well being of a loved one who can never be replaced. As soon as anything is bought, the value starts depreciating; but our relationships when we invest in them, should get stronger and more invaluable.
Do you feel used? Are you a product of physical, verbal or sexual abuse? You need to embrace God’s healing and get your life and self esteem back. A person who has self worth is the only one who can give love. Talk to someone who can help you come out of the experience. Deal with it, and preserve your future.
This week, make the decision to think before you act. Funny as it may sound, when we don’t think before we act, it’s equal to insanity…..
Have a great week!
