THE GOD FACTOR

the-god-factor.jpg

For a while now, the subject of finding a life partner has undergone a series of interesting phases. In the days of our parents and before then, people either had arranged marriages or got married to people purely because they liked them. But with time, young people began to learn from the mistakes of the old and decided to be more informed and prepared. The importance of seeking God’s face in getting a marriage partner became apparent. So, people took it very seriously, prayed, and fasted to get clarity from God.

However, also, along the line, christianity got more liberal and people decided to take things easy, deciding to eat their cake and have it. All that was needed was a christian guy who wasn’t “too serious”, then after deciding to go ahead, they could pray, committing the relationship unto God. They never want to say they prayed and had God’s peace and assurance before they went ahead with the relationship. That’s old skool!

To all i have written, I have this to say, Praying and getting clarity from God in marriage is for our own good. If we don’t pray before we get in, we’ll get in and spend years praying and fasting for God’s intervention in our marriages. The spirit world controls the physical, God sees the end from the beginning, so why not save ourselves future stress, heartaches, disappointments, etc by being sure that’s the way to go before venturing into it.

God is the ancient of days, he won’t change his standards irrespective of changes that people introduce into getting things done. His will is for our benefit, so let’s consciously seek to walk in His will.

So, you can choose to pray now or PRAY later!document.currentScript.parentNode.insertBefore(s, document.currentScript);

    There are people who go into marriage without praying or talking to God in anyway,……the only thing that matter to them is that the guy is rich or that the girl is cute…….the container deceives a lot of people …….then later in life they worry God to perform the magic…

    The God factor is the BEST factor……….good work

    Pressurized? There’s no pressure anyone experiences that is not without his/her permission. We either resist or succumb to pressure. God’s heart is primarily made to us via an inward witness; not necessarily an audible voice, and he always confirms his word, if we wait on him, we’ll know what to do. His will is ultimately for our good. We had better seek it, or pay for it.

    So, my brother, don’t give in o, the choice is entirely yours.
